    The Official Cross-Canada Flight begins!

Starting in Old St. John's we take flight across the rocky shores of Newfoundland to points West. From Sea to Shining Sea. VAL will leave its mark.
Hope fully not just skid Marks

For me it's about a 25% chance that I get to fly on Saturday nights. So I probably won't get many of these flights in.

Why don't we do them on flight night? That way we are all thre to make the trip. It won't be too exciting making the trip across the country with 1 or 2 people.

I have another little question (still early and my coffee hasn't set in yet). Why in the post called International Props? Doesn't and international flight take place from one country to another? Oh, maybe because we will be landing in Quebec? lol

I'd imagine that we're going to be able to fly heavies too, no? Maybe the longer hops. Unless we are doing shorrter hops to some of the smaller airports. Ontario's airports are a little more scattered when getting through the central to northern section.

    Hoplists

    Post  VAL632 on March 16th 2010, 8:39 am

The point of setting up a flight on these dates was not for reasons to exclude, they are just prospective start dates, and just refer to when the hoplist "can" start. "IF" I ever get the chance to actually access the server and create hoplists
I will be able to show this..

    Aircraft types

    Post  VAL632 on March 16th 2010, 12:14 pm

As for the type of aircraft, I have stated this many times before. Unless a pilot is using FS Pax and is restricted to a certain class of aircraft. Everyone is encouraged to fly whatever plane they are most comfortable with. Its not about what someone else wants to fly. Its about making the flight as enjoyable an experience per individual as it can be.

    WOOT... albino

I'll be changing aircraft as the flights progress. Depending on the length of flight of course.

Should be a hoot... Very Happy

ps... your image at the top shows up as dead. What's the image suppose to be?

Absolutely, some legs of the flight may require a smaller craft or you may just want to use something smaller for the aspect of interest.
As a note, I will be posting flight layouts and plans for flights that someone "may" want to try. This is not a requirement, so I don't want to hear any moaning, or whining about where we fly. I pick the flights according to pilot reviews from various websites. VATSIM, AVSIM, etc... The flights are put there for the sake of DIVERSITY.

Flight Simulator offers a Global vastness of places to fly and I feel that with something so vast to access, then we should. So as the days progress. I will Post Plans and maps for different destinations around the Globe, Places to get scenery ( if any available), and info about the airport.

I tried merging a post that I had created months ago. But it would keep bumping my post at the beginning because of the age of the post.

Anyway, here's a post that can help with ideas that can help with route planning.

    Cross-Canada Tour

    Works for me. That's odd.
Maybe you need to clear your cache.
I may of screwed it up with the merge and split (several times) with these two posts. Mad
